September 16-17, 2017 - "Open Doors of the Armenian culture," part of the kvARTal Festival
3:06, 16-09-2017

On the 16th and 17th of September 2017, "Parekordzagan" / AGBU - Sofia was part of the establishment of a cultural district of Sofia, following the example of a number of important European cities such as Krakow, Prague, Budapest, Rome and many others.

The doors of  "Parekordzagan" / AGBU - Sofia were broadly open and the office was transformed into a place of different genres in representational and contemporary art, graphics by Lucia Medzikian, paintings by Gronika Kavafian, comics by Stepan Sarkisyan, photographs by Rafi Yurjugean.

Authentic Armenian costumes were provided by Armenian fashion line Lilit. The people also managed to touch interesting archive books of the organization related with Armenian life and culture, architectural monuments and Armenian art. The atmosphere was complemented by music and delicious traditional Armenian delights.

We would like to thank to the talented artists of  Looney tools who have accepted our invitation to be a part of the festival and with their incredible sculptures have brought us into the metal world.

We are grateful to the designer Lilit Matevsian, as well as to all the participants, members and followers of  Parekordzagan / AGBU - Sofia for being part of this initiative and people have been able to touch fully with Armenian culture.

We would like to thank the organizers of Kvartal / Festival for the good initiative and the opportunity to participate in it.
